Azerbaijan Registration at Place of Stay for Indians – 15-Day Rule, Online Form and Fine

Indian citizens who intend to stay in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days must be registered at their place of stay within 15 days of arrival.

A hotel, hostel, hospital, apartment owner or other receiving party can submit the registration. The Indian visitor can also complete the process personally through the State Migration Service’s available online or physical channels.

No state fee is charged for registration at the place of stay.

The State Migration Service states that, after receiving the application, it enters the foreign citizen’s information into the Unified Migration Information System and informs the applicant, generally within one working day.

This is an official processing indication, not permission to submit after the 15-day deadline.

How Long Is the Registration Valid?

For a visitor who entered with a visa, registration generally corresponds to the authorized period indicated by the visa or the applicable stay period.
