What Does Each Action Mean?

1. Prohibition Order (3 issued): Most severe for individuals. Person is prohibited from participating in affairs of any insured depository institution, holding position, etc. Usually for fraud, dishonesty, breach of fiduciary duty.

2. Termination of Insurance (4 issued): Bank’s FDIC deposit insurance is terminated. Depositors no longer protected. Bank effectively cannot operate as insured bank.

3. Terminating Consent Order (2): Good news – Bank had consent order (agreement to fix problems), now FDIC terminates it because bank fixed issues.

4. Written Agreement (1): Less formal than consent order but bank agrees to take corrective actions.

5. Civil Money Penalty Dismissal (1): Penalty assessment dismissed after payment.

6. Termination of 75 Waiver Orders (5 orders): Waiver orders allow certain individuals/entities to participate despite restrictions – Now 75 such waivers terminated.

No Hearings in November 2026

FDIC confirmed there are no administrative hearings scheduled for November 2026. Hearings are typically for contested enforcement actions where bank/individual challenges FDIC action.
