If you are a Central Bank of India customer and you are trying to call customer care, read this first.
On X (Twitter), a user @GargS2009 complained on Oct 3, 2026 – “Calls are not responding on below support numbers: 011-35000436, 011-35000437, 011-35000438, 011-35000439, 18008896606. Pls investigate and share the correct number.”
And Central Bank of India officially replied on the same day at 1:03 PM:
“We would like to inform you that, Central Bank of India official Customer Care Number is 1800 30 30”
What This Means For You:
- The numbers you find on Google – 011-35000436, 011-35000437, 011-35000438, 011-35000439, 18008896606 – are NOT responding or are not the official primary number. Don’t waste your time calling them.
- The ONLY official toll-free number confirmed by the bank’s verified X handle @centralbank_in is 1800 30 30.
- This is the same fraud pattern we covered in the Vadodara UPI case. When you Google “Central Bank customer care number”, many third-party websites list old or fake numbers to trap you.
How to Contact Central Bank of India Correctly:
- Official Customer Care: 1800 3030 (Toll-Free)
- Never trust numbers from random websites. Always check the bank’s official X handle @centralbank_in or the official website centralbankofindia.co.in
- For any complaint related to UPI, debit card, or account, you can also visit your home branch or use the Cent Mobile app’s Help section.
If you called any other number and someone asked for your OTP, PIN, or CVV – disconnect immediately. A bank will never ask for it.
