Do not use the domestic 1800 2660 desk as your first call. This plan is issued by the IFSC Insurance Office (Reg. No. IFSCA/IIO/017/2024-25). This is not the same product as ICICI Pru’s rupee ULIPs sold on the domestic IRDAI book, and it is not “ICICI Pru Global Wealth Multiplier” (a sister GIFT City plan). Quote Accelerator and UIN ICICIGCUL003V01 in every email so the ticket is not parked on the wrong product.

Step 2 — Use the portal first

ICICI Pru’s GIFT City site is built for overseas servicing. Track a live proposal on AppTracker. After issuance, log in on the global portal and raise service or claim requests online. Screenshot the acknowledgement number before you call.

Step 3 — Call the IFSC helpline

From India or abroad, dial +91 80 6938 5095 or +91 73 1682 3195. These are chargeable international / mobile numbers, not the domestic toll-free. Ask the agent to email the SR number to your registered ID before you hang up.

Mark the envelope “IFSC Customer Service Desk — Global Wealth Accelerator”. The prospectus communication address is the Pragya Accelerator unit in GIFT SEZ, not Prabhadevi. Keep the courier receipt. Disputes under the policy are subject to courts at Gandhinagar.

6. Published turnaround times (so you know when to escalate)

• Copy of proposal to policyholder: 15 days of acceptance
• Corrections and other post-issue requests: 7 days from last document
• Free-look refund, surrender, partial withdrawal: 7 days from request or last document
• Death claim, no investigation: 15 days from intimation; with investigation: 45 days

If those clocks blow, write the CRO with the original SR and the TAT table attached. Do not open a fresh ticket with no history.

7. Safety notes the prospectus itself prints

• IFSCA does not sell policies, announce bonuses or invest your premium. A caller claiming otherwise is a reason for a police complaint, not a payment.
• Section 41: no illegal rebate of premium or commission. Anyone offering a “special discount” outside the published tables can be fined.
• Section 45: a policy generally cannot be questioned after three years except as the Act allows.
• Pay only on iciciprulife.com / the official IFSC payment instruction. Personal UPI, crypto or “relationship manager” overseas accounts are not in the prospectus.
• Tell the company immediately if your address or contact details change — that duty is written into the communication clause.

8. Short FAQ

I only opened the PDF. Do I have a policy?
No. A prospectus is not a contract. A policy exists only after proposal, underwriting and issuance.

Can a resident Indian buy this from a Delhi sofa?
This is an IFSC / GIFT City product aimed at global / NRI USD savings. Eligibility, FEMA and tax treatment are not something a contact article can certify — ask the IFSC desk and a qualified adviser before you remit dollars.

Is this a guaranteed-return plan?
No. It is a ULIP. Market and currency risk sit with you. “Zero allocation / admin charges” is not the same as zero cost or guaranteed NAV.

Protect Plan vs Growth Plan — who do I call on a death?
The same IFSC claims desk. Protect continues the policy with waived premiums after an accepted death during PPT; Growth typically pays and closes. The claim form must state the option.

Should I mail Prabhadevi or GIFT City?
GIFT City. The prospectus communication address is Pragya Accelerator, Gandhinagar 382355.
