Nanda Yadav is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer who began her journey with theatre during her school days. After completing her studies in Delhi, she moved to Mumbai to pursue acting professionally. Career
Nanda Yadav started her acting career with the international film The Letters (2014), directed by William Riead, in which she played a New Postulant Nun. She later appeared in Why Cheat India (2019) as Malini Awasthi alongside Emraan Hashmi.
Her breakthrough came with the web series Shiksha Mandal (2022), where she played the role of Roshini Singh. The series, inspired by real events related to medical entrance exam scams, brought her wider recognition.
She has also worked in several short films and independent projects, including Majjma (2021), Aagah (2022), and Krime Komedy Karma (2024). Her film Shantiniketan (2025) was selected for the Nepal International Film Festival.

Nanda Yadav plays the character of Lakshmi, described as a bold, fearless and unapologetically driven woman who operates in moral grey areas. Talking about the role, she said:
