Recent Initiative – 12th National Handloom Day
On 4 August 2026, District Collector Durgamoorthi announced special programmes to mark the 12th National Handloom Day on 7 August 2026.
According to the official press release, a handloom exhibition-cum-sale along with a free medical camp for handloom weavers will be organised at Pichandi Mahal (located in the Revenue Divisional Officer’s office campus) in Dindigul.
