AC Milan have officially locked in one of the most experienced midfielders in world football for another season.

The club confirmed on 23 July 2026 that Luka Modrić has signed a new deal that runs until 30 June 2027. The Croatian maestro will continue wearing the famous number 14 shirt for the Rossoneri.

Why This Matters

Since joining Milan, Modrić has been a calm, classy presence in midfield. Last season he made 37 appearances and scored 2 goals, bringing leadership, vision and big-game temperament to a young squad.
